The Bear and the Wolf
- How to unlock: Collect all trophies.
- Trophy type: platinum
The Florist
How to unlock: Collect one flower from each of the nine realms.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This trophy is linked to the favor Nine Realms in Bloom. You need to find 9 flowers, which serve as one of the available collectible types. The quest will appear in your journal once you pick up the first flower. Here's where you'll find the flowers:
- Alfheim: The Forbidden Sands region
- Helheim: Hel's Perch region - you must visit the realm as Kratos
- Jotunheim: Angrboda's Treehouse region - you must first finish the main storyline and visit this place as Kratos
- Midgard: Sanctuary Grove region - you must first finish the main storyline
- Muspelheim: The Crucible region - you must first get the two halves of the Muspelheim seed
- Niflheim: Aesir Prison Wreckage region - you must first finish the main storyline
- Niflheim: Mist Fields region - you must first finish the main storyline and visit this place as Kratos
- Svartalfheim: Nidavellir region - you must have the Draupnir spear
- Vanaheim: The Sinkholes region - you must first flood the crater
The Librarian
- How to unlock: Collect all of the Books.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is tied to collectibles. You must find all 14 of Kvasir's Poems. They're categorised as Artefacts. We've listed where to find them in the realms' descriptions, in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.
The Curator
- How to unlock: Collect all of the Artifacts.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is tied to collectibles. You must find all 38 Artefacts. We've listed where to find them in the realms' descriptions, in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.
How It Started
- How to unlock: Equip an Enchantment.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. During the main quest The Reckoning you'll receive the Amulet for winning the main boss fight. This immediately triggers a tutorial on how to equip an Enchantment in the Amulet, unlocking the trophy.
Spit Shine
- How to unlock: Upgrade one piece of armor.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy can be obtained early on, right after unlocking the first dwarven shop. Visit any of the shops, choose any piece of armor you own and pay to upgrade it (in the example pictured above we've upgraded the cuirass from level 1 to level 2).
Spartan Ways
- How to unlock: Remember the Spartan teachings.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. You acquire it by unlocking all three varieties of Spartan Rage (L3 R3). These are unlocked by progressing through the main storyline. You'll get this trophy during the Reunion main quest.
Full Belly
- How to unlock: Obtain all of the Apples of Idunn and Horns of Blood Mead.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is tied to collectibles. You have to open all 35 Nornir Chests, that is, the chests covered with runes.
- You need to solve puzzles to open them, with the main puzzle variations listed on the How to open Nornir Chests? page. You'll find information about specific chests in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.
Knock Off the Rust
- How to unlock: Purchase a Skill.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This is a very simple trophy - enter Kratos' Skills tab and purchase any skill. The cheapest ones will cost you 500 XP.
A Grizzly Encounter
- How to unlock: Battle the Bear.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. We've described the duel against Bjorn the Bear in the Bosses chapter.
Blood Debt
- How to unlock: Battle the God of Thunder.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. We've described the first duel against Thor in the Bosses chapter.
Backyard Brawl
- How to unlock: Battle the Mysterious Valkyrie.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. We've described the duel against the Valkyrie, Vanadis in the Bosses chapter.
Root of the Problem
- How to unlock: Battle Nídhogg.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. We've described the duel against the serpent Nidhogg in the Bosses chapter.
The Cauldron
- How to unlock: Destroy Gryla's cauldron.
- Trophy type: bronze

Off the Leash
- How to unlock: Battle Garm.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. You'll face Garm twice throughout the main storyline. You'll unlock the trophy for winning the first encounter - we've described it in the Bosses chapter.
Comeuppance
- How to unlock: Battle Heimdall.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. We've described the duel against Heimdall in the Bosses chapter.
Better Together
- How to unlock: Battle Hrist and Mist.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. We've described the battle against the Valkyries, Hrist and Mist, in the Bosses chapter.
Phalanx
How to unlock: Obtain all Shields.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: You can acquire several shields throughout the game.
- You'll obtain one of them by progressing through the game (the repaired Guardian Shield);
- Three of them can be purchased from dwarven shops, though the Onslaught Shield can also be found in a Legendary Chest in Helheim;
- The Shatter Star Shield can only be found in a Legendary Chest in Vanaheim - we've marked it on the picture above. You'll find it in the area near the blue fog in The Abandoned Village region.

Collector
- How to unlock: Obtain all Relics and Sword Hilts.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: There are 14 Relics total to be found throughout the game. They can be obtained in a variety of ways - by defeating mandatory and optional bosses, opening Legendary Chests or crafting them in shops. We have included information about them in the Character development chapter on the Relics and Handles page.
Dragon Slayer
How to unlock: Craft the Dragon Scaled Armor Set.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: You can craft the full Dragon Scaled Armor Set after unlocking the Crater in Vanaheim. You'll encounter dragons there, which serve as mini-bosses. They drop unique crafting ingredients when defeated - Dragon Claws and Dragon Teeth.
This also unlocks a new set of armor to craft in shops:
- Dragon Scaled Breastplate - torso armor;
- Dragon Scaled Bracers - wrist armor;
- Dragon Scaled Girdle - waist armor.
How It's Going
How to unlock: Fully repair the Amulet of Yggdrasil.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: You'll unlock the Amulet during the main quest The Reckoning. You need to repair it to unlock new Enchantment slots - this can be done with Jewels of Yggdrasil.
There are 7 Jewels in total, each serving as unique loot:
- Alfheim - in a legendary chest in the Elven Sanctum;
- Midgard - automatically acquired in The Word of Fate main quest;
- Midgard - in a legendary chest in The Oarsmen region;
- Svartalfheim - obtained automatically during the main quest Forging Destiny;
- Svartalfheim - inside a legendary chest on the Alberich Island;
- Vanaheim - inside a legendary chest in Noatun's Garden region;
- Vanaheim - inside a legendary chest in the Jungle region.
Funeral for a Friend
- How to unlock: Attend the funeral.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favor - A Viking Funeral. The favour is only unlocked after finishing the main storyline and is tied to the game's secret ending - we've described it in our walkthrough.
Rebel Leader
- How to unlock: Return the Hammer of the Rebellion.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favor - Spirit of Rebellion. You'll find it in Svartalfheim. The questgiver is the dwarf Durlin.
New Friends
- How to unlock: Fetch Lunda's orb.
- Trophy type: bronze
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favor - The Mysterious Orb. The quest giver is Lunda of Vanaheim. We've pictured the orb's location above - it's in The Veiled Passage region, available only after unlocking southern Vanaheim.
Full Gufa
How to unlock: Free the Hafgufas.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of two favours in Alfheim:
Each of these tasks revolve around freeing a Hafgufa.
Making Amends
- How to unlock: Free the Lyngbakr.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favour - The Weight of Chains. This can be done during your first visit to Svartalfheim and we've described it in our walkthrough.
It Was a Good Day
- How to unlock: Retrieve Mardoll.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favor - Freya's Missing Peace. You have to be travelling alongside Freya and take her to south-western Vanaheim. During the quest you must find and explore a secret region, Vanir Shrine - we've marked it on the picture above.
Invasive Species
How to unlock: Complete all of the Crater Hunts.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This trophy tasks you with killing all dragons and draconic creatures in the Crater - it's a large area in the north of Vanaheim. We've described how to reach it on a separate page of our guide. You must defeat:
- 4 bosses from The Plains;
- 2 bosses from The Sinkholes;
- 3 bosses from The Jungle.
Besties
- How to unlock: Pet Speki and Svanna.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favor - Animal Instincts. You'll unlock it in Midgard, in the Lake of Nine.
Rightful Place
- How to unlock: Return all the Lindwyrms to Ratatoskr.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favor - The Lost Lindwyrms. The quest giver is Ratatoskr, found in Sindri's Home. You can encounter Lindwyrms while exploring Yggdrasil Rifts - mash X to defeat them.
Pure of Heart
- How to unlock: Return the Stags of the Four Seasons.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: This trophy is tied to a side quest. You must take care of a specific favor - A Stag for All Seasons. You'll unlock the quest by finding any of the stags in Vanaheim. You must also get some food from Ratatoskr in Sindri's Home.
Trials By Fire
- How to unlock: Complete the Trials of Muspelheim.
- Trophy type: silver
- Comment: The Trials (combat challenges) become available after unlocking the Crucible in Muspelheim. We've described how to activate the Mystic Gateway in the Crucible on a separate page: How to unlock the Trials in Muspelheim?.
Ready for Commitment
- How to unlock: Fully upgrade one armor set.
- Trophy type: gold
- Comment: All armor pieces cap at Level 9 - you need hacksilver and rare crafting resources dropped by bosses and powerful enemies to upgrade them all the way.
- You must fully upgrade three armor pieces from the same set - chest armour, wrist armor and waist armor. One such a set is Lunda's Lost Armour you can gather in Vanaheim. Focus on upgrading a single set as to not waste rare ingredients on different upgrades.
Ragnarok
- How to unlock: Battle the All-Father.
- Trophy type: gold
- Comment: This trophy is unmissable. We've described the duel against the game's final boss in the Bosses chapter.
Grave Mistake
- How to unlock: Battle King Hrolf.
- Trophy type: gold
- Comment: This trophy is tied to Berserker Gravestones - these can be found scattered throughout the world, letting you face Berserker Souls (powerful optional bosses).
- Defeating all berserkers unlocks the final gravestone in Midgard, letting you face King Hrolf. Hrolf is a Level 9 boss you should heavily prepare for (upgrade your weapons and armor as much as you can).
The True Queen
- How to unlock: Battle Gna.
- Trophy type: gold
- Comment: You can face Gna, the Valkyrie Queen, after finishing the main storyline. Gna's hideout is next to the Crucible in Muspelheim, the exact location is described on the Defend Your Valor page.
- Gna is a level 9 boss and you should prepare for the fight as best as possible (try to get your weapons and armor to the maximum level).
Valhalla: God of Hope
- How to unlock: Master Valhalla and master thyself.
- Type of trophy: silver
- Comment: Trophy related to the main storyline, you can't miss it. All you need to do is complete the Valhalla DLC story.
Valhalla: Invitation Accepted
- How to unlock: Discover the secret of Valhalla.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: Trophy related to the main storyline. To unlock this trophy, Kratos must die once.
Valhalla: Dark Odyssey
- How to unlock: Participate in the sacrifice.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: Trophy related to the main storyline. This trophy will be unlocked after completing the third run through Valhalla.
Valhalla: Blood, Sweat, and Tyr
- How to unlock: Battle Tyr.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: Another storyline-related trophy. It will unlock after the fourth run through Valhalla.
Valhalla: Scry Me a River
- How to unlock: Reclaim Kratos' Oath Stone
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: Trophy related to the storyline. You'll get this trophy after the fifth run through Valhalla.
Valhalla: Wayfarer
- How to unlock: Visit all 9 Realms in Valhalla.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: To earn this trophy, you must visit the Valhalla area inspired by each of the nine Nordic realms at least once during gameplay. Six of these areas are entirely random and are guaranteed to be discovered during the completion of the main storyline. The other three areas are determined by the selection of three weapon-specific Realms (when we open the first chest in Valhalla). During gameplay, we have to make a choice for each of these weapons.
Valhalla: No Kratos, No Scry
- How to unlock: Reclaim Pandora's Statue.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: Trophy related to the storyline. You'll unlock it after the seventh run through Valhalla.
Valhalla: Fight at the Forum
- How to unlock: Participate in a fight at The Forum arena
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: You'll unlock access to this area at the end of the Valhalla DLC storyline, but you can also go there after the storyline ends. At the end of the run, win 7 of the 6 clashes required to get to the final boss to open the passage to the Forum arena. A relevant message will appear on the screen, indicating that the passage is on a higher level. You don't have to win a fight with your opponent in the arena.
Valhalla: Easy Come, Easy Go
- How to unlock: Acquire more than 15,000 Fleeting Echoes on a single attempt.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: In order to advance to the final boss fight, at the end of each visit to Valhalla, you must finish a certain number of fights against tougher opponents. There's a maximum requirement of 6 victories against Valhalla's Chosen, but you'll have to win many more to collect 15,000 Fleeting Echoes. Using the doors with the skull symbol, which can be found at this stage of the game, is a smart move as you'll collect a large amount of this currency inside.
Valhalla: Understood the Assignment
- How to unlock: Complete 9 Mastery Quests.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: To earn this achievement, you need to spend a little more time. Mastery Quests are specific objectives to complete during the game, and you'll receive various rewards for completing them. After meeting the conditions of each Mastery Quest, it's necessary to talk to one of the Valkyries standing near the entrance to Valhalla.
Valhalla: Style Points
- How to unlock: Equip a Cosmetic Armor.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: The point of changing the protagonist's appearance will be found in the first location, where you prepare to enter Valhalla. Just approach the pedestal and change the appearance of one of the armor elements. This activity is free.
Valhalla: You again?
- How to unlock: Find all 3 Boat Captain Keys.
- Type of trophy: bronze
- Comment: The keys will only be available at the end of the main storyline of this DLC. They can also be collected after completing the main storyline. After acquiring the first key, there is no need to defeat the final boss in the run. However, it's necessary to complete most of the run. However, if you die early, it may be required to collect them again. To earn this trophy, keys must be collected in three consecutive runs. You'll find each of these keys right after entering Valhalla, in Valgrind.
