To be able to freely explore The Barrens, you need to complete Secret of the Sands Favour.

Nornir Chest

1. Reward: Horn of Blood Mead

There is a single Nornir Chest in The Barrens, found in the northern part of this region.

To reveal the chest, you need to destroy all red connections. Once the chest is revealed, you need to light all 3 runic torches.

The first torch is behind the boulder. Create seals and light them up with Blades of Chaos. The second torch is next to the Nornir Chest - you can reach it with Blades of Chaos. The third torch is on the roof - make an Axe throw to the red vessel next to the runes.

Legendary Chest #1 - Rond of Affliction

1. Shield Attachment

The first Legendary Chest from The Barrens is in a small cave in the northern part of the region.

To reveal it, you need to destroy all red connections. This involves throwing the Axe at the crystal and recalling it at the right moment so that the Axe destroys 3 connections in one go.

Legendary Chest #2 - Belt of Radiance

Legendary Chest #2 in The Barrens region of Alfheim is underneath a huge skeleton.

Enter the area from the side of the skeleton head and climb to the higher ledges of the cave. The chest is next to an artifact.

Legendary Chest #3 - Gauntlets of Radiance

1. Wrist Armor

The third Legendary Chest in The Barrens region of Alfheim is inside a small building in the northern part of the region.

To be able to open the chest, you first need to clear the area of all opponents.

Lore #1 - Gulon Cull

1. Lore Markers

Lore item #1 from The Barrens region of Alfheim is in the eastern part of the region.

You'll find the runes next to a rock near the Berserker Gravestone.

Lore #2 - The Desert of Our Ignorance

Enter the area from the side of the skeleton head and climb to the higher ledges of the cave. You'll find the runes near the Legendary Chest and Artifact.

Lore #3 - The Tower's Purpose

Lore item #3 in The Barrens is in the northern part of this region.

The runes are found next to a small building - defeat all enemies to be able to collect them.

Lore #4 - The Lost Pages

Lore item #4 in The Barrens region of Alfheim is found in the northern part of this area, under the building roof.

You'll find the runes next to the Legendary Chest. The scroll is involved in The Lost Pages Labour.

Artifact #1 - Harp

To find this artifact, you need to travel to the northern part of The Barrens.

Enter a small cave through a narrow pathway and pick up the find. There is a Legendary Chest nearby.

Artifact #2 - Celestial Construct

Artifact #2 in The Barrens region of Alfheim is underneath a large skeleton found in the eastern part of the area.

Enter the area from the side of the skeleton head and climb to the higher ledges of the cave. There is also a Legendary Chest nearby.

Artifact #3 - Horn

1. Tributes to Freyr

Artifact #3 in The Barrens is found next to a small building in the northern part of the region.

There is also a Lore item nearby - to be able to collect the finds, you need to defeat all opponentsin the vicinity.

Odin's Ravens #1

The first Odin's Raven in The Barrens region of Alfheim is found at the huge skeleton from the eastern part of the map.

The bird is perched in one of the skeleton's eye sockets. Simply make a Spear or an Axe throw to get it.

Odin's Raven #2

The second Odin's Raven in The Barrens region of Alfheim is next to a small building in the northern part of the map.

You can find him perched on a dead tree.

Buried Treasure - Vulture's Gold Treasure Map

There is a single Buried Treasure in The Barrens region of Alfheim. It is found underneath the head of a huge skeleton.

You first need to get the Treasure Map to be able to get this treasure. It is located in The Canyons region of Alfheim.

Draugr Hole

There is a single Draugr Hole in The Barrens region of Alfheim, in the western part of the map to be exact.

As you approach the burrow, you will be attacked by The Hateful. The activity is completed once the boss is defeated.

This Draugr Hole is linked to Born From Fire Favour.

Berserker Gravestone

1. Berserker name: Sisters of Illska and Svipdagr the Cold

There is a single Berserker Gravestone in The Barrens region of Alfheim - you can find it in the eastern part of the map.

Remnants of Asgard

There is a single Remnant of Asgard in The Barrens region of Alfheim, found not far from the entrance to The Below.

To be able to pick up this collectible, you need to finish the main story and unlock Last Remnants of Asgard Favour.
