Popular game from Sony – God of War Ragnarok – was finally released on PC. It means that more people, even those who don't have PS5, finally can play as Kratos and take part in the war between the Norse gods and the Giants. While the title was received quite well, nothing is perfect – especially in gaming. Greek God of War is fighting not only against opponents, but also bugs like low FPS and problems with controllers. Moreover, while Sony made sure to have a large number of available settings, developers still forgot a fairly basic function - FOV.

God of War Ragnarok without FoV on PC

Field of view (FoV) defines width of visable terrain – the higher the value you set, the more you see. However, it also causes some graphical effects. For example, with the high FoV, image near borders of the screen seems to move faster than in the middle.

It’s the very popular setting in games. You can find it even in competitive titles like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege. Unfortunately, in God of War Ragnarok, you will not find this option. It’s not surprising that lack of FoV slider makes players unhappy.

Unfortunately, developers probably will not change this in the future. Of course there is hope, as God of War Ragnarok was released on PC. So, there is a chance that modders will add this feature.
