The mini-map is one of the most useful elements of Dragons Dogma 2, significantly helping with orientation in the area. The most common icon that appears on this map is an exclamation mark, which can indicate various places or interactive objects. This page of our guide describes what exclamation marks mean and when they appear on the mini-map.
What are exclamation marks?
- Exclamation marks are icons on the mini-map that indicate something worth noting. It could be a Seeker Token, a chest, a group of enemies, a ladder, a document to read, and many others - you won't find out until you examine it. The exclamation mark in the picture above is for a ladder.
- The icon appears on the map when one of your Pawns notices an interesting object. That Pawn will say what they have noticed and an exclamation mark will appear on the mini-map. It usually disappears after you interact with a given object. It's worth paying attention to exclamation marks, as they may give you useful items.
