Basic starting Vocations

Starting Vocations are the 4 basic hero archetypes to which you receive access at the very beginning of the game. You make the choice of the Vocation in the character creation screen. Each of these focus on a different aspect of combat and every player should find something for himself among them.

  1. Fighter - a melee combatant equipped with a sword and shield. During clashes, Fighters bear the brunt of enemy attacks, protecting less durable team members. Among the abilities of this class, we have improving damage dealt to targets, increasing defense, or taunting enemies. This class will appeal to players who prefer direct, close combat. This vocation can be chosen for your Pawns.

  1. Archer - a hero specializing in ranged combat, equipped with a bow. They make up their low survivability with nimbleness and agility which allows them to quickly relocate and change positions in the course of combat. The long effective range of a bow helps Archers hurt e.g. flying enemies. This archetype will work great as support for less mobile party members that fight in melee range. This vocation can be chosen for your Pawns.

  1. Thief - this class specializes in inflicting damage with fast combinations of surprise attacks. While not as tough as shield-equipped Fighters, they make up their fragility with extended mobility. Thieves will also be useful during battles against larger opponents, as this class can climb the creatures to reach more vulnerable areas of them. The uniqueness of this class makes Thieves shine only when they complement a well-composed team. This vocation can be chosen for your Pawns.
