Warrior and Sorcerer are classes that are an evolution of basic Vocations and the game describes them as "Advanced Vocations". Unlocking these Vocations is somewhat of a "major step" in what can be treated as a natural development path for some heroes. On this page of our guide, we provide all needed information and describe the requirements that need to be met to unlock the aforementioned character classes.
How to complete the "Vocation Frustration" quest?
To receive the quest about unlocking the new vocations, you'll need to visit the Guild Headquarters in the capital of Vermund. The building is right next to the Inn, near the city marketplace. Talk to the man behind the counter, Klaus, who will share a story involving stolen transport containing Archstaff and Greatsword. As can be expected, your task will be to retrieve these weapons, and completing this task will unlock the new vocations.
Klaus will send you to the smith Roderic. You can recognize his stall thanks to a sword emblem. Look for it on the square with the statue. The blacksmith will show you the way to the goblins' hideout. It is located west of Vernworth. The road to the objective is quite long, so before embarking, we recommend replenishing supplies and resting.
Leave the city through the west gate and follow the mission marker. Keep to the beaten path. However, be on your guard, because on the way you will encounter many hostile creatures such as harpies or goblins. It's possible that you'll also encounter a cyclops.
After reaching the camp, look for the entrance to the caves. In the dark corridors, you will encounter large groups of aggressive goblins. Some of them may attempt surprise attacks, so thread lightly. The cave system is quite extensive, but the layout is not complicated. Follow the main corridor forward until you reach a larger room full of enemies, bonfires, and treasure chests. Examine the contents of every chest carefully, as two of them hide the sought weapons. Take them and return to the city.
The chest with Greatsword is in a room protected by a locked door. The Archstaff, on the other hand, is hidden below the bridge in the large northern room.
After retrieving the items and delivering them to Klaus in Guild Headquarters, both Advanced Vocations will become available.
