Avowed: How to upgrade equipment?
In order to become better at Avowed and deal with increasingly difficult opponents, you not only need to upgrade your character, but also your equipment. You can learn more about upgrading your equipment in this guide page.

Not only should your character become better, but your equipment as well. Additionally, it is important to constantly upgrade weapons and armor, and even enchant them. This page of the Avowed guide will tell you how to do it.
Upgrading equipment
To upgrade your gear, you first need to go to a camp and use a workbench (read more about these places on the How to set up a camp? page). Once you do this, you will be able to select the weapon or armor you wish to upgrade. At the bottom you will notice the required materials needed to upgrade the stats of these items. While the first three upgrades are relatively cheap, increasing the quality requires slightly rarer materials (including the Paradisan Ladder, which you can read about on the dedicated guide page). However, it is worth doing this if you already find weapons or breastplates that you like, to significantly improve your quality in battle.
Weapon Enchant
When it comes to weapon enchanting, each unique weapon has one of two possible enhancements that you unlock at an enchanting station. When interacting with it, select, for example, the unique sword you want to enchant, then select one of the two effects you want to unlock and click enchant. Of course, first make sure you have all the necessary materials to complete this process.
