How to apply effects?
All statuses and effects can be applied using a weapon. You can read the weapon's description to see whether it applies a status. Each grenade has a specific effect that is activated when hitting an enemy or the environment. Most spells also apply statuses of their corresponding element.
Shock and stun
- Shock - this element refers to electrical attacks. On its own, it doesn't do anything special other than inflict the stun status.
- Stun - this status causes the affected character to occasionally spread shock damage to other characters near them. Furthermore, they will be stunned for a short while.
Bleeding
- Bleeding - once the bar is completely full, it will start dealing damage over time to the character affected by this status.
Frost, frozen and shattered
- Frost - this element relates to frost damage. Continuous frost attacks inflict the frozen status.
- Frozen - when this status is fully charged, it will cause the affected character to become frozen and stop moving. Moreover, such a figure can be easily shattered.
- Shattered - this effect can be activated when an opponent is frozen. Using explosions or enough other attacks in a short period of time will deal a huge amount of bonus damage.
Fire and ignite
- Fire - an element that deals fire damage. Continuously attacking will cause the character to become ignited.
- Ignite - a character affected by this status will take continuous damage for a period of time.
Poison
- Poison - a status that causes the affected character to take damage over time. You can read more about this on the How to cure poisoning? page.
Exhaustion
- Exhaustion - if your character loses their entire stamina bar, they will be unable to attack, dodge, or block for a period of time.
Stun
- Stun - a status applied to an enemy after their stun meter fills up completely (yellow bar under the health bar). The opponent is then vulnerable to a special attack that deals high damage.
