Avowed: Tips and tricks
- Buy and collect lockpicks. In Avowed there is no option to keep your lockpicks after picking a lock. They always get lost when opening a chest or door, and a single lock may require a few lockpicks.
- Pay attention to the icons. They can appear, for instance, after targeting a spiderweb, a wooden barricade, or a generator. The icon shown suggests the type of interaction, e.g. the option to set a barricade on fire.
- Kill enemy shamans and priests. This will prevent them from healing or supporting other enemies, making it much easier for you to win the fight.
- Pay attention to the skulls. They appear above enemies' heads and next to quest titles in the journal. The more skulls, the greater the challenge. Take on other quests and upgrade your character's equipment.
- Keep an eye on your stamina bar. This is important during fights because once it is used up, your character will be temporarily unable to attack enemies. Jump back and let your stamina regenerate.
