Regroup with your allies
Your allies have already gathered at the Forward Camp and are preparing for the upcoming battle. Join them and talk to Basim to start the assault.
Breach the gate.
Before you reach the main gate, you have to deal with smaller wooden palisades that have been set up on the road. Leave this to your warriors, and you will be able to destroy the ballistae and eliminate the guards stationed on the walls yourself. It is also worth destroying the kettle filled with boiling oil placed at the very top of the wall.
When the battering ram is brought to the gate, help your warriors breach it. When your opponents start covering you with a hail of arrows, use the shield to protect yourself from incoming projectiles. Though the battering ram is covered, sometimes a burning arrow shot by the enemy can reach its target.
Destroy one of the palisades
After entering the fortress, turn left, eliminate a few guards and shoot an oil jug to destroy the palisade.
Lift the portcullis
Climb the walls and eliminate the enemies guarding the grate lift mechanism. Then use the reel to open a passageway for your troops.
Destroy the palisade
You can use a jug of oil to destroy the wooden palisade. The nearest one can be found at one of the wooden boats placed exactly opposite your obstacle.
If you'd like, you can also take control of one of the ballistae and shoot the palisade until it falls down.
Get inside the keep
All of the major obstacles have been overcome and your troops broke into the inner ring of the fortress. To enter the fortress you will need a key, currently in possession of one of the elite leaders standing in front of the entrance. Defeat your opponent, take the key and go meet Fulke.
Search for Siegfried
Use stairs to enter the second level of the fortress. You will find yourself in the room where Fulke kept Siegfried. Go out to the balcony to activate the cinematic interlude.
Jump off the balcony, then head to church - this is where Fulke took the weakened Siegfried. When you arrive on site, breach the red door with help from Basim.
Find and kill Fulke
Go to the very bottom of the underground crypt to face Fulke. The Instrument fights with two weapons: a two-handed sword and a whip. This extremely cunning opponent will hide in the shadows and try to surprise you with an attack from the back so you can't lose your awareness.
When the enemy disappears, use Odin's Sight to locate her. You will notice a blue circle that will reveal your opponent's current position. Fulke will then lose her advantage.
The vast majority of Fulke's special attacks are indicated by a yellow flash – you can parry or block them to knock the opponent out of balance and do some stun damage.
As soon as Fulke extinguishes the bonfire in the middle of the arena, move immediately to the next illuminated area. You can use fire to get flaming arrows that will cause additional damage to the enemy.
Fulke has unblockable attacks that she can use while running and they are indicated by a red flash - you must avoid them at all cost.
The enemy will also make use of firebombs that deal damage within the explosion radius. However, they won't set you on fire. When Fulke stands still and starts setting a bomb on fire, it is a sign that she is about to throw it at you.
At some point, Fulke will use a smoke bomb and try to escape. Run out of the crypt and catch up with the opponent to deal with her once and for all.
When the fight moves to the square in front of the church, Fulke will fight with a large wooden cross. Her movements will be slower but try to avoid the boss's attacks – they can deal serious damage.
At this stage of the fight, your opponent should not cause you any problems - she has nowhere to hide and he will not be able to surprise you. When Fulke is defeated, Eivor will kill her immediately and the fight will be over.
Hold off the Saxons
The battlefield will be backed up with Wincestre soldiers and many elite guards among them. Beat all the guards to complete the missions. As a reward, you will receive 5,100 XP.
