Assassins Creed Valhalla: Bartering - important choice Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide, walkthrough
Last update: 19 November 2020
On this page of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide, you will find a description of an important choice in the Ledecestrescire region, which you will have to make in the Bartering quest.
The choice takes place in the initial stage of the Bartering mission. Tonna demands that Eivor pay a fee in exchange for information about King Burgard. You can pay the full fee, half of it (option on at least level 2 charisma), or refuse to pay.
- By paying it whole or half of it, you will receive relevant information about King Burgard. You will also be welcome in Tonnastadir from now on. After you capture King Burgard and come out of his hiding place using a side exit into the forest, you will still have to face Tonna.
- If you refuse to pay for the first time, you will get a second chance to change your mind, but you will have to pay 520 silver coins - the discount is no longer valid. If you refuse, you will be considered an enemy, and the Tonnastadir door will close immediately. You will have to find the clues on your own by searching Tonny's fortress and fighting her warriors.
In the picture above, you can see the later consequence of the bartering with Tonna. After the payment she received, she still remained loyal to the king and attacked when Burgred was captured.
