On this page of our guide for Assassin's Creed Valhalla we explain how to solve the Deeds of Christ puzzle in Wincestre. Dealing with the puzzle may be required to complete one of the main quests and progress in the campaign.
You may be forced to solve the deeds of Christ puzzle just after reaching the Wincestre region as part of the related saga. The first main quest of this city - The Reeve of Wincestre - is to meet with priest Sigebeald.
The purpose of the meeting with Sigebeald is to get an audience with the person who invited Eivor to Wincestre. This can be done in two ways.
The first option is to select a dialog option that requires Eivor's Charisma to be equal to 4 or more. Just to remind you, the hero's charisma is strengthened by completing flyting games and the mechanic is described in more detail on the page titled Charisma - how and why to increase it?
The second option becomes mandatory if you do not have enough charisma. You have to solve a puzzle by proving your knowledge of the deeds of Christ.
There are three documents that need to be examined in the church. Odin's Sight can help you to locate them.
1) Baptism Story
2) Resurrection Story
3) Revelation Story
You can now return to the priest and start testing your knowledge of Christianity. You must select the dialog options in the correct order. Fortunately, if you make a mistake, the puzzle can easily be started over.
Thefirst answer is water - He was cleansed in the river.
The second answer is light - His face shone like the sun.
The third answer concerns ground - They did not find him when they looked.
Regardless of how you have behaved during the conversation with the priest (using charisma or passing the test) you will be able to start following him to the next meeting.
