AC Valhalla Siege of Paris: Gear, Melunois - secrets, locations

In Assassin's Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris you can acquire gear not only from quest but also from special chests that contain interesting items. You can get new weapons, shields, and armor pieces for free. However, some of the chests are hidden underground, inside buildings, tunnels or are locked. On this page of our guide you will find out where to find the gear chests in the Melunois region.

Paladin Helm

You will find this chest in the enemy camp in the eastern part of the region.

To open the chest, you will first to find the exit to the basement. It may not be visible at first glance, because it is behind a small wooden fence. If you have trouble locating it, jump on some column to look down from above.

At the location, you must blow up the wall on the left. You can do this with the flammable jugs or with the special skill called the Incendiary Powder Trap.

You will reach the bars. You must shoot the vases, which will explode and break the door lock.

Then return to the main part of the basement, open the door and then the chest, which is no longer blocked by anything.

Paladin Pants

This chest is located in the Medanta location in the northwestern part of the region.

You will need a key to open it. This one can be found on one of the opponents. The enemy is sleeping by the riverbank. You can walk up to him and rob him, or you can simply kill him.

Bring the key to the big tent. There, on the left, you will see a golden chest containing the Paladin Pants.
