On this page of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide you will find a detailed walkthrough for Heavy is the Head story mission.
After Burgred was captured and Ceolwulf was put on the throne, it is time to crown the new ruler of Mercia. Unfortunately, the ceremony will not go exactly as Eivor and his companions have planned. In the final stage of this task you will have to fight another boss - Leofrith.
Reward: 3400 XP.
Walk with Ivarr
Follow Ivarr and listen to what he has to say. During the longer cut-scene you will learn a little more about two brothers.
Reach the longhouse
The next morning procceed straight to the long house to see the coronation ceremony of the new King of Mercia - Ceolwulf.
During the ceremony Leofrith, a faithful knight of the dethroned King Burgred, arrives in the port of Repton. Apparently he doesn't want to give up and will fight until his last breath. The best way to get there is to use the fast travel option.
Search for Ceolbert on the Isle of Waifs
Ubba with the Sons of Ragnar will be on site. Unfortunately, the town was already destroyed and Ceolbert is nowhere to be seen. The trail leads to Waifs Island, right next to Repton.
Once you're there, you'll notice Ceolbert with Leofrith. As soon as you get close to them you activate a cut-scene, after which you will go on to fight another boss - Leofrith himself.
Defeat Leofrith
Leofrith handles his two-handed sword well and his attacks have extended range. Fortunately, the vast majority of his attacks are indicated by a yellow flash and can be blocked or paired. In Leofrith's moveset you will find attacks from below, as well as overhead and fist attacks. They are not that fast so you will certainly be able to react to them properly.
However, beware of a stronger attack, which is indicated by a red flash. This one has to be dodged because it cannot be blocked.
If you want, you can also attack from a distance with a bow and Leofrith won't be able to avoid the arrows - but he can dodge. Aim at the head to cause the highest damage possible.
The tactics for the fight are very simple - dodge or block his attacks and return with a quick counter. After a sucessful hit, wait for your opponent's next move to counter him again. In the picture above you can see how much damage you can do to an opponent with one attack when stunned.
After the fight you will have to make an important decision about what will happen to the defeated Leofrith.
- If you save Leofrith he will tell you about the Zealots and how to stop them. King Burgred had Eivor's name written on a special list of targets, but with information on where to look for it, you will be able to eliminate the threat. This willgive you access to an additional mission, called Hunted;
- If you kill Leofrith, from that moment on, the Zealots will chase you all over the country and will not rest until they are defeated.
After the fight, take Ceolbert to the brothers in Repton. After a longer cut-scene the mission will end and you will receive 3 400 XP as a reward.
