This page of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla game guide contains information on how to identify and eliminate The Keel, a member of the Order of the Ancients. This man is one of the five Maegesters of the Order. In addition to describing The Keel and how to defeat him, we provide the identity of the six order members serving under this Maegester.
The Axe
Kjotve the Cruel - The Axe is the first member of the Order that you will defeat during the campaign. This happens before the Hidden Ones will tell you about the existence of the Order of the Ancients. Kjotve the Cruel is the second mandatory boss of the game found while completing the initial quests in Norway. The confrontation with Kjotve will take place during A Cruel Destiny main quest.
The unique prize for defeating Kjotve is the Raven Clan Helmet.
The Scabbard
You can't miss the clues on The Scabbard. The identity of this character will be revealed automatically revealed when you build a Hidden Ones Bureau in the settlement, i.e. when Eivor learns from Hytham about the activities of the Order of the Ancients in Anglia.
Leofgifu - The Scabbard is staying at the Saxon military camp Utbech located north of Grantebridge in the Grantebridgescire region. The camp can be attacked solo or as part of a raid with the ship's crew. You don't have to kill all enemies from this location. It is enough to kill Leofgifu.
The Baldric
You can't miss the clues on The Baldric. The identity of this character will be revealed automatically revealed when you build a Hidden Ones Bureau in the settlement, i.e. when Eivor learns from Hytham about the activities of the Order of the Ancients in Anglia.
Hunta, son of Hunta – The Baldric is staying at the marketplace in Ledecestre in the Ledecestrescire region. It's a public place, but Eivor can be detected and attacked by the guards. The best idea is to sneak in with the hood on, which delays potential detection. You can also blend in with the crowd or send a drunkard to distract the guards. You can kill Hunta with a long shot to the head (use predator bow) or finding a convenient moment to sneak behind him and kill him with the hidden blade.
The Leech
Sister Frideswid – The Leech is a member of the Order that you will defeat when you complete the storyline associated with the Lunden region. Eivor manages to identify and eliminate the Leech during the main quest Bleeding the Leech. Leech - Sister Frideswid is staying in the temple / forum where she subjects kidnapped people to harrowing experiments. You can launch an attack on the building or sneak into it and eliminate Frideswid in a stealthy hidden-blade assassination.
The Arrow
Avgos Spearhand – The Arrow is a member of the Order that you will defeat when you complete the storyline associated with the Lunden region. Eivor manages to identify and eliminate the Arrow during the main quest Firing the Arrow. Whether you win or lose the shooting tournament, you can reach the square where the Arrow will speak - it's Avgos Spearhand. You can shoot him with a bow, but you'll have to approach the corpse anyway.
A unique reward for killing Arrow is the Bullseye Predator Bow.
The Compass
Vicelin – The Compassis a member of the Order that you will defeat when you complete the storyline associated with the Lunden region. Eivor manages to identify and kill Compass during the main quest Smashing the Compass. You can murder Compass - Vicelin after surviving the attack on the church. Vicelin is on board a boat moored in the harbor of the attacked Lunden - you can reach him by fighting or sneaking around and avoiding other boats with enemies. The battle with Compass is not a very demanding mini-bossfight.
Maegester – The Keel
Maegester Kil is Gorm Kjotvesson, the son of Kjotve the Cruel (murdered at the beginning of the game). Gorm is killed during the expedition to Vinland, described in our walkthrough.
Gorm Kjotvesson is staying at Narfljot Camp located in the northwestern corner of Vinland. Try to complete as many side activities as you can in Vinland in order to get the right gear: weapons, bows, and armor.
You can openly attack Gorm's camp or sneak into it (preferably through the cave below the camp). If you sneak, you will be able to kill Gorm with a hidden blade. Note, however, that Gorm is an elite opponent, so you must have the skill of Advanced Assassination and pass a QTE if you want to kill him by sticking a hidden blade in his neck.
