On this page of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide, we explain whether the death of important allies in the epilogue can be avoided. You may want to finish the game without any deaths among friendly NPCs.
On the page, you will find major spoilers of the final / epilogue in the Hamtunscire region. We recommend you to read this page if you have already played the saga and are looking for information on how to complete it in an alternative way, without the death of Eivor's friends.
The plot concerns the Hamtunscire region, and its saga is unlocked after completing the final events of Sigurd and Eivor in Hordafylke. As part of the Holy Day quest, a great battle takes place, in which all allies recruited in the previous quests in England sides with Eivor.
Unfortunately, the death of three of Eivor's allies is planned and cannot be avoided in any way even if you manage to play all the fights perfectly and get to the fighting comrades as soon as possible. Soma, Hunwald and Hjorr will die in battle. At the end of the Hamtunscire saga, a funeral of these three heroes will be held.
