The main gameplay element in Assassin 's Creed Valhalla is combat. Therefore, it is worth knowing how to heal our character. In addition, you also need to heal your protagonist when you drop from too high a height. On this page of our guide you will learn all the ways to restore your character's health.
How to heal?
The basic way to restore health is to use Rations. These are disposable items that restore most of Eivor's health - you will find them in many places across the game world. In addition, you can also heal yourself by eating the food you find. When exploring the map you will often find growing mushrooms or raspberries, and in the camps you will find pots with boiling food. Using such items will immediately restore some of your health, and if you are not injured, the food will turn into provisions and land in your inventory.
The maximum number of stored rations can be increased. All you have to do is to open your inventory and choose the option to improve rations - you will need crafting materials.
By default, using rations is done by using the buttons below (depending on the platform on which you play Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Other buttons can be found on a separate page of our guide - Controls)

Xbox One / Xbox Series S / Xbox Series X |
It is worth mentioning that you will also recover some health after skinning hunted animals. This is not the best method of healing, but it can be useful if you have no other options.
