It is best to use the Strategic Mission Interface to find new missions

The 4E Missions can be performed alongside the Campaign Mode missions (i.e. the ones concerned with thwarting terrorist plans). The game will allow you to start completing the side missions right after the Prologue finishes, i.e. still before you start the first main mission. Fortunately, you do not need to hurry with completing these - you are granted a complete freedom when it comes to the order in which to complete them and the moment when you want to play them. Completing the side missions also does not influence, in any way, the counter informing of the next terrorist attack on the schedule.

Each of the 4E mission can be played in the co-op mode and it is definitely the best idea, because, thanks to the co-operation with another player, you will be able to chose unique paths and better coordinate the actions aimed at completing the mission objectives. You can also play the missions that you receive from Grim, Charlie and Kobin solo. Only missions received from Briggs require that you co-operate with another player (not necessarily over the internet, you can also play on the split screen).

Completing the side missions is carries the same profits as the main missions so, you can count on receiving points for styles and funds that are added to the total amount. This means, of course, that, by completing the side missions early in the game can prepare you for the consecutive main missions better.

All of the optional missions are open in their structure and their course depends, to a large extent,, on the skills and willingness to co-operate between players. This means that it is impossible to give one, best method of acting because one player does not have the control over the actions of the other. The descriptions of the optional missions focus more on the elaboration on the locations connected with the mission objectives, on defining potential threats and on giving the whereabouts of collectibles.
