The Conqueror's Will - main quest | The Disfavored Camp Tyranny Guide
Last update: 17 November 2016
The following chapter is a full description of the gameplay in the Disfavored camp associated with The Conqueror's Will. You will learn about tasks that are ahead of you.
Certain aspects have been described in separate sections.
In front of the Camp
You will see the presented scene when you finish your journey. The road ahead leads to the Disfavored Camp. Before you actually reach the Camp, Verse will like to have a word with you (unless you removed her from the team). Depending on how you approach the conversation, you can gain her Loyalty or Fright. Regardless whether you want to share information with her or not, you should select the first dialogue option, which will lead to further conversation. The following dialogue options will let you use its potential to the maximum:
Fright
1. Ask her why she is so suspicious - this will unlock an additional dialogue option about the argument between the Archons. This is the next option that you should select.
2. Asking about the Archons can grant you more Fright points.
3. Announce that you won't tell her anything, and gain more Fright and proceed to the next dialogue option.
4. Ignore her request to gain more Fright points.
5. Cut the conversation and announce that the Archons are waiting - more Fright point.
Loyalty
1. Ask her why she is so suspicious - this will unlock an additional dialogue option about the argument between the Archons. This is the next option that you should select.
2. Asking about the Archons can grant you more Loyalty points.
3. Reveal the secret of your vision to obtain more Loyalty.
4. Explain the Edict to obtain more Loyalty.
5. Explain that the Archons are waiting for you and gain further Loyalty points.
You can compensate the reputation loss by selecting different dialogue options, but to maximize the effect two first positions ought to be accomplished.
Finish the conversation and approach the gate. A guard will stop you for a moment, which can lead to Hostility or Approval of the Disfavored. If you don't care about any of the factors, you can pick the two remaining options. The guard will let you inside anyway.
Kyros' Edict
Go through the gate and continue to move forward till you reach the presented tent. You the marker on the entrance to get inside.
An argument between the Archons is taking place - Graven Ashe and The Voices of Nerat. You will also come across Iron Marshal Erenyos and Fifth Eye, who are direct advisors of the Archons. As soon as you get closer to the Archons, Verse will suggest not to disturb them. If you comply with her advice, you will gain her Loyalty. In the end you will be able to speak up, but if you do it directly, you will lose Graven Ashe's reputation and gain reputation of The Voices of Nerat. Iron Marshal Erenyos will join the conversation and this will grant you a chance to speak up, which will eventually lead to gaining respect Graven Ashe, and losing reputation of The Voices of Nerat.
Draw your attention to the fact that gaining popularity of given leaders will increase the respect of the whole party, so support the Archon of the fraction that you prefer most. The conversation can be handled in several ways, but pay attention that during the dialogue, new options will appear. So far, you were able to gain Approval of one party at the cost of the other one. Here you will be given an option to "lose approval", which will affect your good reputation but does not affect relation with a given fraction/leader.
Regardless of your decisions, The Voices of Nerat and Fifth Eye will leave the tent, and you will continue a conversation with the members of the Disfavored. This can result in improving relations with the Disfavored, but the most essential aspect of finishing The Conqueror's Will is the counter which will determine after how many days the Edict needs to be used (right part of the upper panel).
From now on, you will need to pay attention how much time you spend travelling and plan your next steps carefully. If you continue to travel without completing any quests, you may run out of time.
In the Archons' Tent there are two chests [1] [2] that you can search. One of them has a lock [1] and requires 32 points of cunning, however; Verse can do it for you. You can collect Iron footman's bonnet, Iron footman's boots and Turquoise.
You may also speak with the Archon and learn more about the argument between The Voices of Nerat and the current situation of Wendrien's Well. However, in order to start this conversation, you will have to ask him. Otherwise, you will be asked to leave the tent. The conversation can grant you his approval in regards to his lack of trust towards The Voices of Nerat. It's also possible to gain approval of the Archon of Scarlet Chorus if you report about Graven Ashe being suspicious about connections with the rebels. Choose you dialogue options carefully.
