2nd Year of the Conquest Tyranny Guide

You can decide which land you want to help to conquer. There are two available locations:

• The Apex
• Lethian's Crossing

The Apex

You can congratulate the Disfavored a victorious battle

Stage 1

The Battle of Edgering Pass

Support one of the armies. The Chorus demands that the Disfavored should compensate for lack of war prisoners. You can congratulate the Disfavored or make their youngest recruits join the Chorus army. The Chorus will be pleased about some fresh blood, or will remind you how you congratulated the Disfavored. (Go to stage: 2.1)

Stop the Force

You can agree with the Disfavored and kill all the mages or catch them alive and make them join the Chorus. The Chorus will praise your name if you agree to do so. (Go to stage: 2.2)

There is a celebration going on in the city. One army wants to wait for it to end, while the other one wants to attack right away.

Stage 2.1

The Marriage Bed Armistice

The tradition of the South makes a peacetime festival take place on the day off the assault. The Disfavored would like to strike despite the incoming festival but The Chorus would like to delay it (some of its members are also celebrating the festival). If you decide to delay the attack, the Disfavored will note join the siege. However, if you decide to strike right away, the Chorus will not join the battle. (Go to stage: 3.1)

The Sword of the Fallen

Some of the soldiers of the Scarlet Chorus have taken armor of the fallen Disfavored which made the latter furious. Now the Disfavored demand to punish the thieves and return the stolen sets. You need to decide whether or not you want to punish the Chorus. If you do, they will turn towards you with a request for hundreds of sets, which will eventually cause a living nightmare for you. (Go to stage: 3.1)

Stage 2.2

Capturing the Captain

Yet another inner conflict. The Disfavored want to set the war hero free as an act of mercy, while the Chorus wants to impale him. If you set the hero free, he will pay a tribute to you, and spread word about your mercy. (Go to stage: 3.1)

The poisoned well

The Scarlet Chorus poisoned the local well in order to break the enemy. However, they didn't informed the Disfavored about it, which resulted in several soldiers getting killed. If you agree to do so, there will be bad blood between both armies. If you don't the Disfavored will be close to causing a rebellion. (Go to stage: 3.1)

You can decide to go with a simple capitulation or slaying the queen

Stage 3.1

Negotiate capitulation

Make the Apex surrender. (The Queen will live).

Remember: A peaceful approach will make it easier to get on good terms with settlers of Teras in the future.

Challenge the Queen

You taunted the Queen to attack you and now you can challenge her. After her death, the vassals will have to obey you. (The Queen dies)

Lethian's Crossing

The armies are often lead by Archons - powerful mages.

Stage 1

The Iron must flow

Your army needs help with forging weapons and armor. You can assign the refuges that joined the Scarlet Chorus or make the local tribe do the work. The former will make The Chorus unhappy, while the latter will relations with the Disfavored. (Go to stage: 2.1)

The Cult of Sirin

Archon of the Song used spells to make the locals join the Scarlet Chorus. Things got complicated when one of the Disfavored was affected by accident. Now the Disfavored are worried that the Archon is out of control and request to stop her. You may also put them in the front line during the incoming battle. (Go to stage: 2.2)

Stage 2.1

Warden Independence

Mercenaries have become close to the Scarlet Chorus. The Disfavored do not want to share their supplies with hired swords. You need to decide whether the Chorus and mercenaries are allowed to interact or should a separate garrison be built. The mercenaries won't like the idea of being separated from the rest of the army. (Go to stage: 3.1)

Selection of Armor

There are three available options. Each group will try to persuade you into granting them additional supplies. You may punish both armies or select one of them. Choosing one side will result in losing reputation among the other one. (Go to stage: 3.1)

Lethian's Crossing is a place where armor is being forged for the Disfavored

Stage 2.2

The red anvil

A Smith-Mage will swear to be loyal towards the Scarlet Chorus, but the Disfavored do not want to reveal the secret of forging. You may shackle the smith and send him back to the Disfavored or erase his memory. If you choose the former, none of the armies will protest about it. (Go to stage: 3.1)

Ancient Threats

The city has been attacked by ancient creatures and it's up to you to select the party that will defend the forge. Both armies will be grateful if you do not select it. (Go to stage: 3.1)

If you put the Chorus in charge, the Disfavored will find it difficult to obtain armor and weapons.

Stage 3.1

Select the Disfavored

The Disfavored will take better care of the forge, as they are the main target for weapons and armor. People of Lethian's Crossing will be pleased with this choice.

Select the Scarlet Chorus

For the first couple days the soldiers robbed, raped and killed. They sent the Disfavored only little supplies. This will increase the conflict between the two parties even further.
