Last update: 07 December 2016
The following description elaborates on Iron Hearth and Caedo which are related to Broken Spear. You will learn about available side quests and how to make the best of them.
All quests were described in the dedicated part of the game guide.
Reach Caedo
You can receive this quest from Acalos in Iron Hearth. If you mention the Civil War, the Disfavored inform you about a quest. You may not want to take part in it but if you accept the offer, Caedo, a new location on your map will be unlocked.
If this is the time you are travelling to Lethian's Crossing, you will have to face Bronze Brotherhood first. Depending on your decision, you can gain some Favor or assault them and engage in a direct conflict.
Regardless of your decision, you will reach Caedo.
Defeat Nefsio
The village is abandoned you will come across some Disfavored soldiers in the main square. They will be surrounded by members of the Scarlet Chorus, so help them.
The battle will be easier due to the fact that the Disfavored will fight on your side. Nevertheless, as soon as the fight begins, Nefsio will hide in the building presented in the screenshot. Before you actually go inside, make sure that your companions have full health. When you are ready, walk inside the building.
Inside you will encounter members of the Chorus. This may be a tough fight, as there are two mages who will strike your team with area spells - make sure to focus on them first. Before the actual fight starts, you will be able to speak with Nefsio. However, this won't lead to anything.
Kill your foes and search containers that were marked in the screenshot. Before you go to collect your reward, you can search for treasures that were marked on the map.
Collect the reward
Get back to Iron Hearth and Acalos will be waiting for you in the same place. Approach him and let him know that you eliminated the wanted member of the Chorus. You will be rewarded with 1700 rings. You can ask for more money but this will result in Wrath of the Disfavored. Acalos will not be pleased but will grant you additional 600 rings. Once you collect the reward, the quest will be completed.
