The above map presents Effigy, a location where you will continue the storyline of Civil War. You will learn many interesting details related to the plot, and find a number of hidden treasures.
Quests in Effigy
Main quest: Extinguishing the Flames - here you will complete the first part of the quest given by Graven Ashe, concerning the act of rescuing Maric from Sage's Guild.
Main quest: The Ties That Bind - a quest that can be given by Maric right after he is rescued. Your task is to free Maric's soldiers and killing Jelena, who is guilty of betraying the troops.
NPCs in Effigy
Maric - scout of The Disfavored. You will find him on one of the roofs where he is a hostage. Save him and he will reveal the location of Burning Library. Furthermore, he will give you a task related to this location.
Enemies in Effigy
Renata - leader of Sages located in Effigy. Regardless of the dialogue options, you will have to kill her in order to save Maric.
Acalia - a scholar. Uses area spells, so try to eliminate her as quickly as possible.
Beastmen - nearly immune to physical damage. They are very strong and use magic attacks. You can focus on the mages during your battles and deal with Beastmen later on.
Sages - vulnerable to physical attacks. They have a wide range of magic spells, so you need to eliminate them right away.
Traveling from Effigy
Once you finish all the activities in the location, Burning Library Entrance shall be unlocked on your map.
