Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls) M15 - description and map Tyranny Guide

The above map represents Sentinel Stand, a location in which you will continue storyline related to Civil War. Here you will complete all of the objectives associated with the quest Into the Maelstrom. What is more, you will learn important aspects of the storyline and collect numerous valuables marked on the map.

First storyline visit

Quests in Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

Main quest: Into the Maelstrom - in this location you will complete objectives associated with this quest. Your task is to contact an Unbroken scout in the area and find a way to reach Sentinel Stand.

NPCs in Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

Rativek - Disfavored. He will give you information associated with Into the Maelstrom quest.

Janos - Unbroken scout. He's not connected directly to the quest in this location, although he will appear in the area when you're completing activates associated with it. You can ask him about Blade Grave and the Unbroken. He will leave the location after having a conversation with your character.

Enemies in Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

Scourge - three enemies. Perform attacks dealing fire damage and are quite resistant to physical attacks.

Wisp - two enemies. Perform attacks dealing lightning damage, although they are vulnerable to attacks.

Going further from Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

After completing all of the objectives of Into the Maelstrom quest, a new location will appear on the world map - Duskwatch Fort. It's connected with further objectives associated with the mentioned quest. As long as the effect of the Edict of Storms remains active the only entrance to the location can be found on the southern edge of the map.

Second storyline visit

Quests in Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

Main quest: Making a Stand - you will continue the quest in this location. Your task is to contact the scout of The Disfavored and finding a way to reach Sentinel Stand.

Main quest: A Trial of Archons - Near the collapsed wooden bridge, there is body of one of the Disfavored. Search the body and you will find a report that points at the Archon of Secrets.

NPCs in Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

Rumalan - Disfavored. Will not take part in fighting the Unbroken. You can notify that you decided to betray the alliance but if you keep supporting her faction, she will take cover on the other side of the bridge while you deal with Janos and his men.

Enemies in Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

Janos - you encountered him earlier and he was introduced as a scout. Now he is an enemy that you will have to deal with if you did not betray the alliance. Although he is not the toughest opponent you encountered, he will have more companions than you and can cause some trouble.

Unbroken - Prefer close combat and can use healing magic. The first encounter shouldn't be much of a problem but during the second one, you need to pick your targets wisely.

Traveling from Sentinel Stand (Outer Walls)

Finish all the activities in the location and you will be granted access to the right part of Sentinel Stand. That location cannot be reached from your world map directly.
