First steps
You should start the game with invasion of Hercynia. Defeating Boii will not only finish their domination in the area but also give you and access to the entire province.
In the meantime you can negotiate with tribes related to yours. Since they begin the game fighting with each other, the great idea is to defeat one side and then to invite to other one to the confederation. Properly carried diplomacy should result in controlling Silesia and Suebia.
After conquering 2-3 provinces you can start further expansion. The easiest victory to achieve is the cultural one, because most of the territories required to conquer is located around your starting position. Same is with economic dominance - it will force you mainly to fight with barbarian tribes. If you want to be military dominant, you have to prepare for a long march to Spain, Italy and even Minor Asia.
