Oddworld Soulstorm: 100% mission completion - how to do it? Oddworld Soulstorm guide, walkthrough
Last update: 08 April 2021
On this page of the Oddworld Soulstorm guide, you will learn the requirements for completing the mission 100 percent. We also explain what you have to do to get all the badges (challenges) for completing a stage.
- In Oddworld Soulstorm, each stage ends with a mission summary – it's a good opportunity to see how well you have done. You can also check this information during a mission. They are displayed on the pause screen.
- 100% mission completion means unlocking all Platinum Badges, i.e. doing 100% of all mission-related challenges. The number of badge types varies from mission to mission – usually, you will get 3-5 types of challenges.
- Each badge in the game has four levels - bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. To complete a mission in 100%, you must perform 100% of the required actions. If you fail to do so, you will unlock a lower level badge (e.g. gold instead of platinum) or you won't get any at all.
- Some challenges can be failed – partially or entirely. This will happen if, for example, you fail to save the required number of Mudokons or capture the required number of opponents.
- If you suspect that you have made a mistake, restart the game from the last checkpoint to do better. You can also repeat entire missions from the main menu. This is great if a given challenge requires you to behave in a certain way throughout the entire stage, not just in some specific place.
- The top right corner of the summary screen displays information about Quarma, the game's karma system. Abe can end the stage with a positive quarma (blue) or a negative quarma (red). Quarma is not associated with badges and theoretically does not affect whether the stage is completed in 100% or not. If you are a perfectionist, you can focus on the activities associated with positive karma (blue) and avoid those that can give you negative karma (red). We described the karma system in more detail on the Quarma page.
- The counter is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen – how much time you spent on completing the stage. This also doesn't count for completing a stage in 100 percent, although you can compare your results with other players (online mode).
Additional note - Badges/challenges are related to trophies from the Gameplay Master group. We have described them in more detail on the Trophies/Achievements page.
