This page of the Kena Bridge of Spirits game guide explains how to easily and quickly defeat the Warrior, the next boss in the game. You will encounter him during the Warrior Path main mission.
The Warrior is a pretty fast opponent for his size. When you aim your bow at him, he will start to dodge quickly, making it a bit harder to hit him.
The Warrior usually attacks once with his spear. When you notice that he is about to attack, dodge or block it with your shield.
When you are very close to him, the Warrior may quickly jump backwards. Afterwards, he usually jumps up, which is indicated by red marks near his body. A moment after jumping, he will attack you with his spear and thrust it into the ground, causing a small explosion. Simply dodge as he starts coming down, then attack him, as it will take a while for the boss to pull the spear out of the ground.
If the Warrior stands still for a long moment and then raises his spear, it means that he is about to shoot out a series of three projectiles. Each time he brandishes his spear, he will produce a projectile in a straight line. These projectiles are incredibly fast, especially the third one. Instead of dodging these attacks, you can close the gap and attack the boss by Dashing.
Not only will you interrupt the boss's attack, but you will also deal damage to him and temporarily stun him.
Also, watch out for his grab. When you approach him, instead of jumping away, he might grab you and throw you to the other side. This attack has very good tracking, so it's a good idea to dodge backwards to avoid it. If you don't, a short animation will play, during which he will throw your character and deal significant damage in the process.
The boss also uses a similar attack to the Mask Maker, i.e. he can cause a massive explosion that spreads across the entire arena. To avoid taking damage, you need to Dash. This will get you to the other side and negate the damage, and if you end up close enough to the boss, you can damage him.
