On this page of the Kena Bridge of Spirits guide, you will learn how to easily and quickly defeat the next boss in the game, Mage. You'll encounter it during the Taro's Regret main mission.

Mage, as its name suggests, mainly uses magical attacks. It also constantly summons regular enemies to fight you off.

Mage immediately summons three melee enemies as soon as the battle starts. You should kill them when you're out of Courage. Attacking them rewards you with Courage, making it easier for you to get close to the boss.

Mage is a pretty fast enemy, if you get too close it can teleport away and start shooting you at range. It's important to have Courage. It allows you to stun the boss for a moment, giving you time to attack it. The stun doesn't last very long, it's also advisable to move away when it ends, as Mage creates a big explosion around itself once it recovers.

Mage can be easily defeated by fighting at range. While it causes the boss to use magical projectiles more often, you can shoot them down or run into the enemies it created, to make the projectile explode and deal area damage.

Mage can also heal itself. If you notice a green aura, this means Mage is about to recover a large amount of HP. The only way to stop this move is using Rot and stunning the boss. You should always have at least a single Courage when the boss' health gets low.
