On this page of the Kena: Bridge of Spirits guide, you will read about how to get the bow, Kena's second weapon. You will also learn what it can be used for.
Bow - how to get?
After playing the tutorial, you will get to the Village. This is the first major location. There, you will receive a quest to release Taro.
After getting Taro's mask, you will move on to the next stage - you will start the main mission called Find Rusu. Rusu will teach you how to use the bow. To get to him, you have to go all the way to the top, defeating weaker opponents and even bosses on the way.
After defeating the boss called Kappa, you will reach the very top. There, you will find Rusu, who will teach you how to use the bow.
Bow's functions
The bow has many uses. It's not just for fighting, although it does quite well at that too. In combat, the bow allows you to defeat enemies from a safe distance or take care of enemies that would be hard to hit otherwise. You can also shoot at enemies' weak points, dealing them even more damage.
The bow has other uses as well. It will allow you to reach previously inaccessible areas. All you have to do is shoot at an object (usually it will be a flower) to pull yourself towards it.
If something is hanging from a tree, you can shoot it down - you will get currency or other items. Therefore, it is worth unlocking the bow as soon as possible, as it helps not only in combat but also in exploration.
