On this page of the Kena: Bridge of Spirits guide, you will read more about how to heal the main character. You will also learn how to use it during combat.
In Kena: Bridge of Spirits, you will often have to clear the forest by defeating countless enemies. This means that you may lose a lot of health points. Therefore, it is useful to know what you need to do to be able to heal yourself during combat.
The most standard way to recover health will be to simply finish the fight. Every time you finish a fight, you will regain your entire health. Nevertheless, there is another way to heal yourself during combat.
There will sometimes be objects on the battlefield that you can use to heal yourself. This is worth doing as a last resort, as there aren't many of them in the arena, and they recover a large amount of health. You need one stack of Rot to activate them, which is used to summon Rot during combat. Depending on the difficulty level you choose, you will gain stack Rot by receiving damage and/or dealing damage.
Once you have a Rot stack visible above your health bar, use the interaction button on the object presented in the picture to heal yourself during combat.
