On this page of Kena Bridge of Spirits guide, you will learn how to easily and quickly defeat the second boss in the game, Kappa. You will encounter him during the second mission, Find Rusu.

Kappa is a bit of a cowardly boss. His fighting style involves teleporting to one of three spots in the arena and then throwing a projectile at you that explodes upon impact. Also, every now and then, he will create one regular opponent.

The opponent is actually a great help, as you can charge your Courage gauge on him to use Rot. This is very important because if you get close to Kappa, the boss will quickly transport to the next location. Rot will help you stun the boss and hold him in place for a few seconds.

If you don't have Courage and want to attack Kappa at all costs, run only when he starts throwing projectiles, not before. When the boss throws a projectile while you are close to him, you can use this chance to attack him before the boss teleports. If you have a problem with damaging Kappa, gain the Courage and use it to stun the boss.

Keep in mind that once the boss is knocked down, he will be vulnerable for 5 seconds. After that, the boss will attack you, so prepare a shield, parry the attack, or perform a dodge.

When his health drops below half, Kappa will be able to teleport to the hill from where he will fire multiple projectiles at you. It's a good idea to be on the move at all times, or hold the shield to avoid taking damage. After a few shots, he should reappear on the lower platforms.

There is one healing spot in the arena, so use it only when your health is very low.
