In this page of Kena Bridge of Spirits guide, you'll learn how to complete the second main mission called Help Taro, which starts by defeating the boss Sprout.

On this page of the Kena Bridge of Spirits guide, you will learn what to do in the second mission, during which you must find Taro in the Help Taro mission. This task will begin once you have defeated Sprout, the first boss.

After defeating Sprout and cleansing a part of the forest, you will begin the second main mission, whose objective is to find Taro. You will be asked to do so by the Taro siblings. Once the mission is activated, there's nothing left to do but head to the lower part of the forest.

On the way, you should come across the first important location, namely The Village.

The Village will initially be deserted. Your task will be to cleanse the village of evil. To do so, go deep into The Village.

Once you head deeper into the village, you will notice a shift in the mood. You will also be attacked by basic opponents. At this point, you will need to fight them to fill your Courage meter and cleanse the location.

After defeating all the enemies, use Rot to clear the location, then use Pulse. This will cleanse most of The Village.

After clearing The Village, it's a good idea to walk around the buildings, as you'll find some valuable chests and resources there. It's worth mentioning that after clearing The Village, you will get access to your first Hat Cart, where you can customize your Rot.

Your next objective will be to head to the shrine. The road goes over a bridge. Head toward the shrine with the large mask. Then stand on the platform from the screenshot and use Pulse.

Once you have used Pulse, you will receive Taro's Mask. The mask will allow you to find hidden Rot at the passageways to the various gates. You can wear it to notice things that aren't visible in the real world.

After getting Taro's Mask, head to the center of The Village again. There you will see a barrier with the mask you have obtained on it. With it, you will be able to get to the other side.

Once you are on the other side of the passage, you can go to the right to move the large wooden log. Then you can jump up and get everything inside the building (including an item for a side mission).

Nevertheless, your main objective is to head up the mountain. There you will see, among other things, the previously encountered Taro siblings. Your goal will be to defeat the enemies that appear in the uncleansed area.

You will mainly be attacked by smaller opponents, so it's a good idea to fight using quick attacks. Here you will also learn for the first time how to heal during combat. To heal, you will need a full Courage meter and the object pictured in the screenshot. You should only heal if you know that your opponent's next hit could prove fatal to you.

After the fight is over, cleanse the forest. Then, you will spot a Forest Tear. Among other things, the Forest Tear serves to unify all Rot into their original form.

In order to control them, you need to move as Kena and Rot itself (right analog stick on PS4/5). Among other things, this form is used for cleansing obstacles in the forest, but also for fighting. To move on, destroy all the obstacles around you using Rot.

Then head up the hill. There you will find a blue tear, which you have to place with Rot's help on the flower pictured in the screenshot. By doing so, you will create a renewed, true form of Rot. Afterwards, you will need to destroy all the obstacles around you again.

You should mainly focus on cleaning the sculpture visible in the screenshot. This will earn you a trophy and a large amount of in-game currency. Then cleanse the other roads.

After clearing out the obstacles, you should head up and start climbing the walls. After a successful climb, you should reach another Warp Stone. This will be your checkpoint, as across from the Warp Stone, there will be another corrupted forest containing enemies.

In combat, you can use Rot's true form. At first it may seem hard to control Kena and Rot, but it's worth learning how to fight this way. In this form, Rot deals a lot of damage, and you will have to face numerous enemies of both the smaller and bigger, more powerful varieties. In the meantime, destroy the obstacles, because behind one of them, there is a healing object.

After defeating the enemies and cleansing the forest, the Forest Tear will reappear. On the left of the screenshot, a side road can be seen. The main road has small lamps next to it.

You can also head up to the abandoned house that is blocked by corruption. Use Rot's true form to clear the way and get inside.

Then contine onwards, following the lamps. Moving on, you will find yourself in the second part of the forest.

The forest's aura will shift to a darker one. You need to reach the location from the screenshot. It won't be hard, as a yellow soul will be there to guide you. When you reach this point, a short cut-scene will play. After the cut-scene, the quest requiring you to find Taro will be completed. The next task will be to find Rusu.
