On this page of the Kena Bridge of Spirits guide, you will learn how to easily and quickly defeat Rot Eater, the next boss in the game. You'll encounter it during Adira's Regret main mission.

The boss fight begins in an unusual way. When you start the fight, there will be a place for Forest Tear in the center of the arena.

Shoot down Forest Tear so that it land perfectly in the center. Then, use Rot's original form to clear corruption on the three plants. However, watch out for opponents. They will mainly attack Rot, not you. Move frequently and kill enemies the moment they get close to you.

The main boss, Rot Eater, will appear once you clear all three flowers. It's a larger version of the opponent that attacked Rot a moment ago.

Rot Eater uses several attacks. The main one is shooting projectiles at you from time to time. These are easy to avoid - just do a sideways dodge. Usually, when it does this attack, it will raise its neck high up.

When you see that Rot Eater is close by and raises his neck, then it is a good idea to move away from it - at close range, you can receive damage from a fired projectile.

Rot Eater can also create an explosion around itself. It deals damage, moreover calls some flying enemies that will make it difficult for you to fight the boss. You should use Rot's original form to deal damage to Rot Eater. It deals very high damage. However, it will be hard to control Rot and avoid the projectiles of flying opponents.

Therefore, at this point, it's a good idea to use the bow and get rid of all the flying creatures, and only then use Rot to attack the boss. It is also important to remember that this explosion will injure Rot, and you will have to use Courage to control Rot again.

Remember to be in constant motion, even if you control Rot. This boss will test your ability to control two characters simultaneously, Rot and Kenya. Move Rot towards the boss and attack with Slam. That way, you will deprive the boss of much of its health fast.
