Finding Frozen Hearts

1. There are 4 Frozen Hearts in The Pale Reach DLC. You can find them by shattering an ice block storing a frozen person. To mine such ice structures, you need an Ice Axe. You can find characters subdued in ice in Central Camp, Western Bearing, Eastern Terminus and Southern Locus locations.
2. Each Frozen Heart takes up 3 inventory slots, and can be moved to Storage.

Who accepts Frozen Hearts?

1. Frozen Hearts may seem without a purpose at first, but later on their importance increases, as they play a role in The Pale Reach storyline.
2. You're going to need to acquire all 4 Hearts and deliver them to Rock Slab, a location in the northeastern part of the Pale Reach archipelago. You need Icebreaker for your ship to be able to break through the ice rocks blocking the way to the location with Rock Slab.

1. After interacting with Rock Slab, you need to transfer brought hearts to the slots on the left - if needed, rotate them so they fit, but make sure all 4 Frozen Hearts find their way to the left menu.
2. Completing this action fulfills Under the Ice story quest - we describe it in more detail on the DLC Quests page of the guide. Additionally, you'll receive a reward in the form of Radiant Trawl Net.
