Warning! This quest has a time limit of a few days - the game does not let you know about it. We suggest only accepting the quest if you want to take care of it immediately. If you take too long to return to the Gold Hooded Figure, they'll die, and you won't get any sort of reward.

Unlocking the quest - talking to the Gold Hooded Figure
To start the quest, you must talk to the Gold Hooded Figure. You'll find them on an island between Stellar Basin and Gale Cliffs. We've marked the place on the map above.
You'll be tasked with catching two different kinds of fish and a crab. You can deliver them to the questgiver one at a time, or catch them all and turn them in all at once.
The quest requires catching specific kinds of fish, which require specific equipment. You'll find the necessary information on the All fishing rods page.
Catching a Red Snapper

- Required Rod: Coastal
- Location: Stellar Basin. There are many fishing spots holding this species in the area.
- Time of Day: day
Catching a Fangtooth

- Required Rod: Abyssal
- Location: Stellar Basin. Look for fishing spots with schools of small fish, on the outer side of the main islands.
- Time of Day: day and night
Catching a Blue Crab
- Requirements: Crab Pot
- Location: Stellar Basin. Place traps around the area and wait for a Blue Crab to get caught.
- Time of Day: day and night
Returning to the Gold Hooded Figure
Return to the Gold Hooded Figure and give them the spoils. You'll be rewarded with Advanced Fishing, a book that increases your fishing speed by 15%.
