You can complete the Dredge game in 2 different ways, while one of them has an alternate version. On this page of the guide we describe all the endings. You will learn what to do to achieve each of them and whether it is possible to see both without starting a new game.

Bad ending
After completing the Flames in the Deep mission and finding the Antique Pocket Watch, use the Manifest ability to transport yourself to Blackstone Isle.
Talk to the Collector and give him the last relic as he requested.
After a short conversation, the Collector informs you that the time has come for the last journey. Select the I'm Ready option.
At this point, the game disables the save system. This means you can still get the good ending after loading the game.
Your destination is the point indicated on the map. Or you can simply head towards the pillar of light, for that is where you are going to go.
Once you're there, listen to the conversation and watch the cutscene. This is the end of the Dredge game.
Good ending
After getting the last relic, don't give it back to the Collector. Instead, sail to the dock in the north of the Twisted Strand area. Use the map above to locate this place.
In the camp you find an Old Mayor who can shed some light on the events from years ago. Hear what he has to say.
Now go to the city of Greater Marrow. There, talk to the Lighthouse Keeper and ask for the book. Select the dialogue option What do you know about silver and crimson book? The woman answers your question and indicates the next target.
Sail to Blackstone Isle and start a dialogue with the Collector. Then choose the following dialogue options:
- Tell me more about that book of yours.
- Don't play dumb. You know which book I mean.
- Where did you get it?
- Give me the book.
- Step closer.
You are going to come into possession of a mysterious book.
Return to Greater Marrow and talk to Lighthouse Keeper again. Say you have the book, then select I'm Ready. Show me where I need to go to start the last journey.
From then on, the game disables the save system. This means you can still get an alternative bad ending after loading the game.
You have to swim to the point shown in the picture above. You can also head towards the place where the beam of light cast by the lantern ends.
Once you're there, select the only available option and watch a cutscene. You have just finished Dredge.
Alternative bad ending
There is also an option to see an alternative bad ending. To get it, you have to give the last relic to the Collector, but also take the book from him and sail towards the pillar of light yourself. The result of doing so only slightly changes the course of the last sequences, but the finale is the same as in a regular bad ending.
