Disco Elysium: How to heal injuries? Disco Elysium guide, walkthrough
Last update: 15 December 2022
In this Disco Elysium tutorial page, you will learn how to heal your hero when his health or morale is affected.
In Disco Elysium, the hero's level of well-being is determined by two parameters: Health (linked to Endurance) and Morale (linked to Volition). When the level of either of these two parameters drops to zero, Harrier Du Bois will die, so it is useful to know how to handle critical situations.
The hero can lose health points for various reasons, such as a failed skill test or an unfortunate accident, but it is also worth noting that Harry can lose health and morale points during conversations. The first conversation with Evrart's Union Chief Claire is a good example of this - Harrier will lose 1 point of health if he sits in the particularly uncomfortable chair (unless you pass a passive Pain Threshold test).
A character's health and morale levels are displayed just above his card in the lower left corner of the screen. The orange bar represents health and the blue bar represents morale. Each of these can be divided into smaller sections, depending on the level of the associated attribute. Above the health bars you can also see the number of healing items that can be consumed - just click on them and the hero will immediately take the medicine.
In the game Disco Elysium health and morale levels can be healed in several ways:
- Healing items: to be found in various containers and bins, to be purchased at the Frittte kiosk;
- Bed Rest: completely regenerates the hero's health and morale;
- During dialogues: in some cases, selecting the appropriate dialogue option or passing a skill test can restore health or morale.
