The task Find the bullet before you get fooled in Disco Elysium is automatically completed during the field autopsy of the hanged man's corpse (Perform field autopsy task), after meeting a specific requirement.
During the autopsy, try to complete the legendary Perception check (Search the body one more time thoroughly) to examine the corpse again and find a bullet stuck in the dead man's skull, followed by an easy Interfacing test (Fish it out) to retrieve the bullet. Finding the bullet is a huge breakthrough in the investigation.
