Synchronization and quick travel | Moving AC: Syndicate Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
The map of London is divided into few parts that are hidden behind a "fog". Because of that, until you reveal a territory you don't see the activities available there - like, for example, merchants. In order to reveal a part of the territory synchronization is required. To perform synchronization, you must climb on the vantage point available on the map from which you can see the whole neighborhood. While on the top, press the proper button to synchronize and reveal part of the map.
After synchronizing, usually you will be able to perform a leap of faith. It means that you won't have to slowly walk down from the vantage point - instead, you can simply walk towards the edge and, when it is possible, jump down. Jacob or Evie will land in a haystack or a pile of leaves, saving time required for walking down.
Synchronization is used mostly for revealing the map. Since climbing is not hard, it is wise to do it. Additionally, by synchronizing you will unlock quick travel points. Wherever you are, you can open the map and select a destination quick travel point, to which after a short loading you will be moved.
