You can quickly sneak under the wooden platform from the haystack.

In the first part of the mission you must get close to the monument guarded by the policemen. To do it without calling the attention, find a haystack that is at the border of the restricted area. Then wait for the nearby policeman to walk to the other side and sneak up under the wooden platform. Another option is using Rooks to distract the policemen or simply killing them.

Climb on the top of the building after the interaction. Then attach the rope to the place shown on the picture. Thanks to that, during the ride down you will be able to perform a leap of faith to the haystack below (you can do it by performing the "regular" leap of faith when Evie will be riding just above the haystack). Go to the cathedral.

Once you get there, climb on the roof and find the monument high above the entrance. You will activate a riddle in which you must set the gears by matching the symbols. Listen to the sounds generated when turning the gears, proper position will be signalized with a "click". Below you will find the correct sequence, starting from the default position of the gears.

Solution:

- first one three times left,

- second one two times left,

- third one five times left,

- fourth one two times left,

- fifth one four times left,

- sixth one four times left.

The proper placement will open a door nearby - go to the vault.

A yellow bar signalizes that Lucy will attack.

After the cutscene a battle with Lucy Thorne will start. The fight is extremely schematic. Most of all, you must remember about countering the attacks when the yellow bar will be highlighted. Pressing the block button too early or too late will end in you receiving a hit. Very often another hits will occur after the first one, so be always prepared for quick blocks. After a successful counter you have a moment to perform your own attack, help yourself in that with knives or revolver.

When closer, you must block few consecutive attacks.

Three times during the battle the camera will be zoomed at Lucy. When that happens, she will perform few consecutive attacks. Your only job during these actions is blocking all her hits - they will happen one after another very quickly. During these sequences you must prepare to quickly press the block button. Remember to do it precisely when the yellow bar will be highlighted. After a series of hits the battle will continue in regular way. Defeating Lucy will end the mission.

Important: Completing the side objective might be troublesome. Most of all, you must be patient and prefer blocking the hits over attacking. Focus mostly on the sequence during which Lucy will attack with few quick hits. If you have trouble with completing this challenge, you can always return to it later, when you will have new abilities that will allow you to finish the battle quicker and reduce the risk of making a mistake.

Challenges

Perform a leap of faith in a haystack while on a zipline - attach the rope to the chimney of the building next to the haystack. During the ride down it is possible to perform the leap of faith when you're getting close to the haystack.

Counter all of Lucy's strikes - most of all focus on blocking enemy attacks, perform your own only if you're sure it's safe. Don't attack constantly, Lucy can block your combo and perform a sudden counter. In case of trouble consider repeating this mission later, when you will deal more damage and you will be able to shorten the battle.
