Indiana Jones Great Circle: The Secret of the Queen Mother mural puzzle

The mural puzzle in the Secret of the Queen Mother in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can be completed in Giza. On this page of the guide we have described all the steps of this puzzle: reaching the Khentkaus Excavation Site and the Tomb of Khentkaus, locating the room with the mural, solving the puzzle with matching stone glyphs, and unlocking the passage to the hidden room containing the stone stele.

Reaching the Khentkaus Excavations in Giza

1. When you first arrive in Giza, you will start the Idol of Ra fieldwork and while playing it, you can unlock the secret of the Queen Mother fieldwork. This quest involves visiting the Khentkaus excavation site; it's in the southern part of the Giza map (see the screenshot above).

1. First, you have to locate two levers in the excavation site. Pulling both levers will restore power to the elevator shown in the screenshot.
2. Enter the elevator and select the bottom button to take the elevator down to the underground tomb of Khentkaus.

How to complete the mural puzzle?

1. You can now proceed through the linear halls to the room with the mural. Start here by taking a photo of the puzzle mural.

The premise of this puzzle is to correctly place 3 stone glyphs in the round slots. The glyphs are lying on the ground near the mural. The correct solution is as follows:

1. Top slot (1 in our screenshot) - place the stone glyph with a bird;
2. Middle slot (2 in our screenshot) - place the stone glyph with a snake;
3. Bottom slot (3 in our screenshot) - place the stone glyph with a fish.

Where to find the hidden room?

1. You'll hear the mechanism working, but nothing will open up. Turn 180 degrees and return to the hall that you used previously to reach the room with the mural. Notice that a part of the wall has been illuminated with large cracks.

1. Find a two-handed weapon nearby and use it to break through the weakened wall (look for an illuminated spot). You will unlock the secret passage and reach the hidden chamber.

1. There is a second mural in the hidden room (you can take a photo of it) and a stone stele. Pick up this quest item, leave the Khentkaus excavation site and return to Omar with the stele.
