Looking for a black cat is part of the Free Spirit mystery that you can complete in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This guide page explains how to unlock the quest to find the cat, where the scaffolding is, how to get to the roofs, and how to locate Father Bianchi's cat.

Unlocking the quest

  1. You can find out about the missing cat by examining the notice board in the Vatican: we marked this place in the screenshot. It is the area around the entrance to the Tower of Nicholas V, at the eastern end of the map.
  2. You will unlock the Free Spirit mystery. By reading the flyer, you will learn that Father Bianchi is looking for his missing black cat.

How to climb onto the roofs?

  1. Get to the area marked by the game on the map - it's the garden, west of the pharmacy and the Vatican post office building. You will find a scaffolding, in the place shown in the screenshot. Start a longer climb here that will take you to the rooftops of the buildings.

Where is Father Bianchi's black cat?

  1. Head south along the rooftops and then turn west. You'll find the cat by the wall of the western building (see the screenshots above). You have to take a photo of it.
  2. Return to the notice board with your photo. Interacting with it will complete the quest and you will receive 100 Adventure Points.

There are also other cats on nearby rooftops, but finding them will not allow you to complete this quest prematurely.
