Getting to the safe - the Father and Son mystery

1. During your stay in the Vatican, take care of the A Nun in Trouble fieldwork. In this mission, Indiana and Gina will climb to the top of the Borgia Tower and rescue Giuliana.
2. Immediately after completing the fieldwork, the Father and Son mystery should be unlocked its first objective will be to find locked doors. Exit the tower to reach the nearby balcony in the Borgia Courtyards. You can use Giuliana's key here to unlock the entrance to the building.

1. There will be a friendly dog inside. You will also find a safe (shown in the screenshot) requiring a 4-digit combination.

How to use the Polybius Square Diagram?

1. Two different documents found in the same room will help you solve the puzzle. A poem in Italian is one of them; you'll find it inside a drawer of one of the desks.

1. Polybius Square Diagram can also be found in one of the drawers. By reading the appropriate column and row, you can find out the associated digit from the code.

Start by analyzing the poem in Italian and focus on the letters marked in red. Memorize them in pairs:

1. Iand R - 1 in our screenshot;
2. Iand A - 2 in our screenshot;
3. T and A - 3 in our screenshot;
4. S and O (note: this is not A) - 4 in our screenshot.

Now bring up the Polybius Square Diagram document. Here's the solution:

1. Column I and row R = number 5 (1 in our screenshot);
2. Column I and row A = number 8 (2 in our screenshot);
3. Column T and row A = number 7 (3 in our screenshot);
4. Column S and row O = number 3 (4 in our screenshot).

The safe combination is 5873.
