Can you repair melee weapons and firearms in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle? On this page of the guide we will explain how to repair Indy's revolver with the use of a dedicated Repair Kit.

How to repair a revolver?

  1. Indiana's revolver is one of the starting elements of your equipment. By default, the revolver works like a firearm - you can shoot enemies and replenish your magazine thanks to the ammo boxes you find.
  2. After running out of ammunition, the revolver can become a melee weapon - you can hit enemies with it. However, you must be aware that each hit reduces the weapon's durability by 1 point, which is indicated with dots in the lower right corner (see the screenshot).

  1. Once you have used up the entire durability, you can no longer use the revolver, even after finding new ammo packs.
  2. You must first repair the revolver and to do this, you need 1 Repair Kit. You can see one in the attached screenshot. Repair Kits are scattered in the game world as loot, starting from your first visit in the Vatican City. Once picked up, they are stored in Indy's bag.

  1. Open the bag, highlight the firearm and select the Repair Revolver action. Using 1 Repair Kit will make your weapon fully operational again. The revolver can now be used both as a firearm and as a melee weapon (buttstroke).

Improvised weapons and weapons taken from enemies

  1. In the game world you can find various models of melee weapons, such as batons, sticks, hammers or even a plunger. They can become improvised weapons; you can use them to attack or stun enemies. Each improvised weapon also has its own durability, which is shown in the lower right corner of the screen. Unlike the revolver, you cannot repair melee weapons. Using up all of its durability will cause the protagonist to automatically drop it.
  2. You can take firearms from your enemies, e.g. rifles used by some fascists. Unfortunately, similar restrictions apply here - not only can you not repair rifles, but you also can't replenish their ammunition. Treat these items as one-time help.

Indy's alternate main weapons

  1. The revolver isn't Indy's only permanent weapon in the game. You can obtain other main weapons while using alternate outfits.
  2. For example, in Giza you can get a worker outfit, which is intended to make it easier to infiltrate the Nazi compound. While using this disguise, you can use a shovel instead of the revolver.
  3. The shovel may lose durability with repeated attacks, but unlike improvised weapons, you can repair it. You will need the repair kits described earlier. The idea behind this is for the player to have 1 repairable weapon equipped regardless of the outfit.

Some puzzles in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are quite challenging, which is why we recommend checking out our guide, where you’ll find solutions to all the puzzles.
