In Path of Exile 2, apart from just killing hordes of enemies, there are many interesting quests to complete. Some of them, such as Legacy of the Vaal or The Slithering Dead, require you to find something special in order to pass the quest. The Chaos Statue task, which occurs in Utzaal, in Act 3, is no different. The snag is that players don't quite know how to complete this quest. This guide will tell you how!

How to complete Chaos Statue quest in PoE 2

Many players have complained about a problem with the Chaos Statue quest. This task can be done in Utzaal, in Act 3. It involves finding the Trialmaster statue and interacting with it to pick up an item called the Inscribed Ultimatum. The catch is that many people have done just that, and still the quest displays as uncompleted....

Unfortunately, this is a bigger problem that will have to be patched by the developers. Quite a few quests, despite being correctly completed, may still be highlighted on the map anyway, suggesting that they have not been finished. What's more, if you're playing co-op and teleport to another player’s instance to do story quests with them, the map may still show that the quests are not completed for you, which is not true.

In the case of the Chaos Statue, finishing the Trials of Chaos can also help. You should do it anyway, as it is one of two ways to get Ascendancy (the other option is to complete the Trial of Sekhemas). However, if you're worried that the task with finding the Trialmaster statue wasn't completed correctly, rest assured, as you only need to pick up the Inscribed Ultimatum from the altar with a big statue, to successfully end it.
