Ascendency points are quite a premium currency in the world of Path of Exile 2. However, they allow players to strengthen build a lot, so they are worth the effort. One of the ways to get them is to go through Trial of the Sekhemas (if you want to know other sources of these skill points, read our guide). During this challenge, players can encounter (in various situations) the phrase “venerate a Maraketh shrine”. What does it mean? You will learn it from our guide.

Learn what venerate a Maraketh shrine in PoE 2 means

Trial of the Sekhemas is quite a challenge, as you have to avoid being hit by enemies, at the same time you have to complete various tests – sometimes with boosts, other times with curses. However, during your travels, you can see “venerate a Maraketh shrine” phrase a few times. It can be part of a boon, relic or affliction description. So, what does it mean?

At the end of some trials, you will be able to spend Sacred Water to buy honor. Yes, the shrine from the description is this one. So, keep that in mind when you roam through Trial of the Sekhemas challenges.

PoE 2 is full of ambiguous mechanics. I am sure even more will appear during the development process and later, with new updates (if the successor will be similar to Path of Exile 1). If you want to learn more about the game, read our guide. We describe and explain many features and even present some builds. Good luck.
