MiSide - console (Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox) release explained
Has Mita from MiSide enchanted you? The game is available on PC, but if you would like to enjoy it on a console like Switch, PS5, PS4, or Xbox, we have some answers.
The end-of-year break is a time when many of us would like to relax from work and our usual, day-to-day activities. The situation is no different for many game developers, who after working long hours, finally have some time to catch a breath. Due to that, usually there aren’t many, if any, big releases happening during that period. However, it is a time to shine for smaller creators who would like to steal your, otherwise unattainable, attention. MiSide is one of such surprises that happened by the end of last year. It has gained appreciation from numerous fans on Steam, yet what about console players who own Switch, PS5, PS4, or Xbox? Will they be taken care of, too?
MiSide release on consoles (Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox) explained
Most of us probably heard about a phenomenon in Japanese animation called isekai. MiSide lets us live through such fantasy. If you ever wanted to jump into your PC, TV, or a book, this title shows you how it’s like. Not only its best sides, though, as the situation quickly goes south. However, as of now, Mita is only interested in transporting computer players to her world. Doesn’t she like consoles like Switch, PS5, PS4, or Xbox?
Maybe. And that’s good news. On Miside’s official discord server, we can find a message from a person affiliated with AIHASTO, the game’s developer, informing that it is unknown whether the game will be ported. This might be disheartening, but at the same time gives hopes for the future.
If you would really like for Mita to haunt your Playstation, Xbox, or Switch, the best thing to do right now is to get to the aforementioned discord server and voice your opinion there. It is more than certain that you’re not the only one with this wish. The more fans press the creators, the more probable it is that the production will be available on consoles, especially that undeniably, it’s very successful on Steam. Good luck!
