MiSide Description
MiSide is an unusual combination of life simulator, dating simulation and psychological thriller. The production was developed by the independent studio Aihasto.
Plot
The main protagonist of MiSide is a young man who plays a mobile production involving the care of a virtual girl named Mita. Unexpectedly, our protagonist's charge teleports him to her digital apartment to take their bond to the next level.
The protagonist quickly begins to realize that the home of his "waifu" has become a prison for him. So he must make an effort to find a way to escape from this place. Of course, this does not please his partner, who does everything in her power to keep him with her. Things aren't made any easier either by the headaches the man is dealing with; fortunately(?) Mita has pills to alleviate them.
As we progress, we meet other characters, each of whom has a role to play in the story told here. While some may prove to be our allies, others may prove to be the opposite.
Gameplay
The way in which the action is presented in MiSide varies, depending on what stage of the story you are at. Initially, when the protagonist views Mita only on the screen of his smartphone, events are shown from a bird's eye view. However, when the protagonist enters the digital world of his protégée, the camera changes to a first-person perspective (FPP).
In the second stage of the game , we can move fairly freely around Mita's apartment. Among other things, the game allows us to look into rooms and interact with our companion and have conversations with her, eat meals, take selfies or even play on the console.
In addition, many of the activities we undertake during the game are presented here in the form of mini-games. Although at first they are visually simplified, over time they take on a more advanced form. We are talking, among other things, about accompanying Mita in household chores (headed by cooking) or providing her with entertainment.
Graphics
The graphic design of the MiSide game is kept in a manga style.
