Indiana Jones Great Circle: The Priest's Safe puzzle (Secret of Secrets)

Exploring the Vatican City Map in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may lead to finding the Priest's Safe, the opening of which requires a four-digit code. On this guide page we explain where the safe is hidden, how to use the planetary chart and Nicoletti's Letter to determine the correct code and what the code is. We also inform whether the Forged Book has any practical use.

Where is the Priest's Safe?

1. The safe you are looking for can be found in a building in the southern part of the Vatican map; we marked this location in screenshot 2. You can enter it from the Borgia Courtyards. Use the clergy key to open the door and climb the stairs to the first floor.
2. You'll need to explore the area to figure out the safe code; this is part of the mystery of the Secret of Secrets.

Safe code, how to solve the Planetary Chart?

1. Check the desk to find Nicoletti's Letter; this is the first hint for determining the safe combination.
2. The second important document is the Planetary Chart, which you will find in the desk drawer, as shown in the picture.

1. Look at the Planetary Chart and you will notice that the numbers are associated with specific symbols. The chart is missing four numbers (we added them in the attached screenshot) and one symbol associated with the number 4.

1. As instructed in the letter, you have to examine two figures, which needs to be done in a specific order.
2. First, examine the statue of Saint Peter. Turn it to see the symbols written at its base. Once you link them to your Planetary Chart, you will determine that the first 2 digits of the combination are 44 (the blurred symbol on the chart).

1. Now examine the statue of Saint Paul. As before, you will find symbols at its base. You will determine that 71 are the last 2 digits of the combination.
2. The correct combination for the safe is 4471.

Can you take the Forged Book?

1. One of the items stored in the safe is a forged book. Indy will assume it's a fake as soon as he takes the book out of the safe. It's an item with no additional practical use - you cannot add it to the hero's inventory and the only thing you can do is to drop it on the ground.

1. In the safe you will also find the Cutman I book. You can purchase its ability for 250 Adventure Points to improve the efficiency of your health bar regeneration. You will also obtain a Hidden Note. The game will complete the mystery and you will receive 100 Adventure Points.
