Table of Contents

This page of the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle guide contains an interactive map of the Gizeh region - this is the first major location that you will begin exploring as part of the main quest The Idol of Ra. You can explore hostile excavation sites, a Nazi camp and the Tomb of Khentkawes. Using our map will allow you to learn about the locations of the following activities/items: Adventure (Main Quests), Fieldwork (Side Quests), Mysteries, Discoveries, Skillbooks, Notes, Medicine Bottles, Ancient Relics, Fast Travel Points, Shops, Disguises, Restricted Areas, Points of Interest or Photos. It will make it easier for you to fully complete the Gizeh map.

How to get to Gizeh?

You can reach Gizeh for the first time only after completing the main quest The Stolen Cat Mummy - you must complete all steps of the investigation in the Vatican. The heroes will sneak aboard a Nazi zeppelin and travel to Egypt.

Main map of Gizeh

This is the main, largest map of Egypt. It consists of a number of locations, including an excavation site and a village.

Similar to the Vatican, some locations on the map are Restricted Areas and they are closely guarded by the Nazis. Depending on the location, you can sneak there while freely exploring the map or get there as part of one of the quests.

The Tomb of Khentkawes

You can go down to the large tomb as part of the Secret of the Queen Mother Fieldwork. Indy must first get to the large excavation site and then solve the puzzle of activating the elevator leading to the underground tomb.

While exploring the tomb, you can, among other things, complete the mural puzzle, thanks to which Indy will obtain a stele.

Mysteries, Fieldwork and Discoveries

While in Gizeh you can complete:

  1. 6x Mysteries - these are smaller quests related to solving puzzles;
  2. 3x Fieldwork - these are bigger side quests;
  3. Discoveries - these are smaller activities.

Secrets

There are many different collectibles waiting to be found in Gizeh. These are for example:

  1. Field Notes - there are about 150 of them in total. The notes you collect can be tied to specific quests or optional activities.
  2. Ancient Relics - there are 15 of them in total.
  3. Medicine Bottles - you can find 25 bottles altogether.

Skillbooks

Our interactive map shows where to get Books in Gizeh. They can be purchased or obtained as loot. As a reminder, you can use them to unlock Indiana's skills that can be then purchased for Adventure Points.

Photos

You can use the camera in Egypt as well. We've marked NPCs or locations to photograph on the map. This will allow you to easily earn free Adventure Points.

Points of Interest and Puzzles

We've marked important locations on the Gizeh map, where you can make significant discoveries or discover smaller optional locations to explore. Our interactive map also shows locations of puzzles (both optional and required to advance in the game).

Merchants

While in Gizeh, you can visit traders and buy unique items from them, including books and lighter.
