While playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle you don't have to explore the main location 100% on your first visit. On this page of the guide, we have described how you can return to previously visited regions as well as the most important limitations that come with this possibility. You will also learn if the game features points of no return and if it is possible to continue playing after the end credits (endgame).

Points of no return

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Machine Games, 2024

  1. In the game's campaign, Indy visits various corners of the world one after another. For larger regions, you may receive a subtle warning that you are approaching the end of your visit there.
  2. In the case of the Vatican, going to the Fountain of Confession is a smaller point of no return - you will do all the subsequent events in one go, and after completing them, you will immediately set off to a completely different region.

How to return to previous regions?

  1. Luckily, you don't have to aim for 100% completion of a particular region before moving on to the next location, as the game will let you return to previous locations further on.
  2. Open Indy's journal and go to the Travels tab. Select one of the main locations and then the Revisit option (see the screenshot above)
  3. The only locations that are off limits are small locations that you visit only for individual scenes.

After loading a previous location, the game will display the main assumptions and limitations of this functionality:

  1. Revisiting old locations is not treated as part of the plot, i.e. Indy doesn't travel to them again by plane or other means of transportation. The game loads the state of a given location before leaving it and it has no impact on the current events of the main storyline.
  2. You can take care of unfinished business, such as completing optional activities, taking more photos, or searching for missed collectibles.
  3. To keep your progress in a previous region, you need to save the game. Saving is described in more detail on the How to save the game? page. The easiest way is to just go to one of the fast travel points to force the game to autosave (the hat icon in the corner of the screen).

  1. Once you have taken care of everything, open the Travel tab again. Select the newest region and the option to continue the story. You will return to it exactly where you left off.

Playing the game after finishing the story

  1. After you complete the main storyline and watch the credits, you can select the continue option from the game's main menu.
  2. You will return to the last location before the finale (image above). From here you can replay the final battle, but you can also open the journal and freely return to previous regions. This will let you to uncover all of the game's secrets and activities without needing to restart the campaign.

Some puzzles in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are quite challenging, which is why we recommend checking out our guide, where you’ll find solutions to all the puzzles.
